Song of Praise and Worship

Singing is honoring , praising and showing gratitude to our God revealing His good deeds in our life.
David sang songs unto the Lord to  show how he  honors  and praises God as gratitude to what he has done to his life. David was made great by God because of his humbleness and  faith in our Lord. He might have committed sin when he made Urias fronted the battle to take Bathseba (wife of Urias from him). Of course, kahit mahal siya ni God he had to be punished, so nagkaroon ng kaguluhan sa pamilya niya at namatay ang unang anak nila ni Bathseba. But, all those did not prevent David to be loved by God because of his faith in the Lord.
During the time of Moses , God told him to create a song and that should be sang by the Israel people. So, God love songs. It is one way of praising and honoring the Lord, and God is delighted in offering Him songs of praises. Below is an excerp of one of the songs of Moses to God.
 In Exodus 15:1-27 15 Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying,
“I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become jmy salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and lI will exalt him. The Lord is a man of war; the Lord is his name.
Excerpt from the Bible about how to sing songs unto the Lord.
Psalm 98 :
1 Sing to the LORD a new song.
4 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the LORD, the King.
7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy;
Do you ever imagine how does it feel with those instrument together joined with dancing in honor of our Almighty God. We do this and I felt a different joy when I sing before the Lord.
Some unbelievers do not believe in using instrument to sing praise songs to the Lord. However, in Psalms it shows how the Jews sing and dance before the Lord to praise and worship Him. They used as many musical instruments. Ibig sabihin magingay ka sa pagpuri sa Dios, isigaw mo ang pagpupuri sa Kanya.
Music of praise, honor and gratitude and revealing the good deeds of the Lord should be in a worship song.
1 Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2 The LORD has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Colossians 3:16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
 Ephesians 5:18-20- 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalms 5:11“Let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.”
Psalms 9:2: “I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.”
Psalms 51:14“Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
Psalms 59:16“I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.”
Psalms 63:7: “For you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.”
Singing of praise is an act of  praying with melody
 In Acts 16:25 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.
And they were freed from chains  that hold them and was able to walk away from prison cell.
WHY NOT TRY TO SING PRAISE SONGS INSTEAD OF THE WORLDLY SONGS. SEE THE DIFFERENCE AS YOU CONTINUE TO DO IT EVERYDAY!
